Sassi Tour and performance of "Cupa Cupa"

We will start with an exciting guided tour of 2 hours in the Sassi di Matera. The students, accompanied by an expert guide, will explore the ancient alleys and houses excavated in the rock, immersing themselves in this unique-in-the-world town's millennial history. The tour includes entrance to the suggestive rupestrian church, a stone-excavated place of worship that tells stories of faith and devotion. To conclude the morning engagingly, we will assist the performance of "Cupa Cupa", a traditional performance that joins a touch of folklore and authenticity to the visit.

Free Lunch

After the morning tour, you will enjoy a break for free lunch. Students and tutors will have the chance to explore Matera's routes, enjoying the local cuisine's delicacies in one of the many restaurants and cafés of the town. It is a perfect occasion to taste the typical flavors of Basilicata and recharge your batteries for the afternoon.

Space adventures at the Museo della Scienza

In the afternoon you will led to the discovery of the Museo della Scienza di Matera, a place where science comes to life interactively and engagingly.
