Welcome to the Sound Ceramics Workshop

Kick off your experience by diving into our unique "sound ceramics" workshop. You'll take center stage in crafting a traditional Materan "cucù" (cuckoo), immersing yourself in the art and age-old secrets of pottery making.

Get Hands-On with Clay

In the workshop, a renowned Master Artisan will guide you through the different clay techniques needed to create your cucù. You'll learn to make single-tone, two-tone, and even water whistles.

Craft Your Own Cucù

Working alongside the Master Artisan, you'll unleash your creativity to design and build your very own personalized cucù. You'll follow the process from start to finish, transforming raw clay into your finished piece while learning and trying out the traditional methods of local experts.

Into the Kiln

After you've completed your cucù, it will be fired in the kiln to ensure it lasts.

A Lasting Souvenir

The following day, your decorated creations will be carefully packed, ready for you to collect or have shipped to your home. This way, you'll have a permanent reminder of this special experience and can proudly display your handmade Materan cucù.

- In the event of adverse weather conditions, such as heavy rain or thunderstorms, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone the excursion to ensure the safety and comfort of all participants. Safety is our top priority.

• Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellation requests must be sent via email to ota@martulliviaggi.com.
A full refund can only be granted if the cancellation request is received at least 3 days before the scheduled tour departure date. Otherwise, the full tour cost will be charged.

• Cancellation Within 3 Days of Departure:
- If the cancellation occurs within 3 days of the tour departure date, 100% of the tour fee will be charged as a cancellation penalty. This policy is in place to secure service bookings and cover any expenses already incurred.
