Grottole and Miglionico – Workshops and Tastings

After breakfast at the hotel, the Tour of Basilicata continues towards Grottole, where you will admire the historic Church of Diruta, a symbol of the local community since 1508. Here, you will meet the locals at the Castle and participate in various workshops.

Grottole and Miglionico

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Grottole, where you can admire the Chiesa Diruta, a symbol of the Grottole community built in 1508; then meet the locals at the Castle, where guests can rediscover local traditions through various workshops:
Honey Workshop: Grottole is known as the “City of Honey,” and therefore, a hands-on experience about bees, the hive, and honey itself is a must, concluding with a delightful tasting.
Pasta Workshop: Homemade pasta demonstration to discover different pasta shapes.
Embroidery/Crochet Workshop: A chance to revive the manual crafts of the local grandmothers.
Transfer to Miglionico, where you will enjoy an interesting tasting of local dishes prepared by friendly local grandmothers.
